Matt Hella, NP-C, has spent over 25 years in healthcare – first as a Paramedic, then as a Registered Nurse, and since 2013, as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. His background spans emergency medicine, critical care, and specialty internal medicine, giving him a deep understanding of both acute and chronic health challenges. But over time, he began to see the limits of the conventional model: a system built to manage symptoms, not restore health.
After facing his own unresolved health issues, Matt turned to regenerative and functional medicine – and the results were transformative. What began as a personal journey quickly became his professional mission. He pursued advanced, hands-on training with some of the country’s top experts in regenerative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), and ketamine therapy.
In the Boise area, Matt is a leading expert in cellular health and regenerative medicine. As the only local provider with this level of specialized training in cell-based therapy, he offers a rare combination of clinical skill, innovation, and empathy. His approach is simple but powerful: identify the root cause, support the body’s innate ability to heal, and remove the barriers standing in the way. For many of his patients, that means freedom – from chronic symptoms, from endless prescriptions, and from the cycle of corporate healthcare.
Matt’s work is deeply personal – because he’s lived it. After years of working inside fast-paced hospitals and medical systems, he found himself facing the same frustrations many of his patients feel: fatigue, brain fog, and symptoms that were dismissed or medicated rather than solved. Turning to functional and regenerative therapies changed his life.
His passion is fueled by both his clinical work and personal journey — improving his own health, supporting friends and family on theirs, and now helping clients pursue their path to wellness.
Outside the clinic, Matt leads a full and active life with his two teenage children. He’s an avid skier and dirt bike rider, a musician, and a lifelong learner who’s always exploring new skills and passions. He believes in building a life that feels good – not just looks good on paper – and that’s exactly the kind of vitality he helps his patients reclaim every day.
